Blazin AI

Blazin AI is a startup I co-founded with Vinzenz Pfeiffer and Laurits Just. At Blazin AI we developed a machine vision API for online fashion marketplaces. It enabled sellers to automatically extract information such as product type, brand, size and colors from uploaded product images alone.

At Blazin I single-handedly developed and maintained our API service based on Node.js. I also assisted with the development of our machine learning technology and created a web-based demo using Svelte for sales purposes.

In March 2024 Blazin AI was acquired by our largest customer marko, a Swiss second-hand marketplace. In our short history we extracted information from over 100 000 images for more than 25 000 products. Now our technology lives on as a tightly integrated feature of marko's platform.
